Hilmar Ingimundarson

Hilmar has 10+ years of experience in the banking and payments industry where he managed from the UK the market development of card settlement business and portfolio across EU. With comprehensive experience and industry know how, Hilmar has lead several projects to launch and developed strategic partnerships within the European payments industry.

Hilmar has lived and studied in Australia, France, UK but calls Iceland home. He has an M.Com degree in Finance & International Business from the University of Sydney, served as a junior lecturer in Sales Strategy at the University of South Australia and holds an MBA. He currently also serves as chairman of the Klifurhúsiò climbing gym in Reykjavík, Iceland.

Marc Bernier

Marc Bernier

Marc has 30+ years of experience in project development, project implementation, and market development.  He has been the lead advisor to several sovereign entities to negotiate and obtain Moody’s and Fitch credit ratings, bond issuance for sovereign infrastructure projects, and the creation of SPE’s to fund and operate sovereign-owned infrastructure companies. 

Over time, he acquired a wide range of experiences in developing and operating private, public, and sovereign large-scale projects in emerging markets. 

Marc has been involved in software development and FinTech projects for 20+ years. He was part of the startup teams in SaaS financial management, eMoney service providers, collaboration platforms, and idea-sourcing platforms. Marc is currently based out of Sint Maarten.

Chris has over 30 years of experience in Debit & Credit Card Issuing and Acquiring, Money Transfer, Foreign Exchange, Banking, Technology, Transaction Processing, and Identity Verification. Chris has worked in Financial Services and Technology in the UK, Europe, Canada, the United States, the Caribbean, Hong Kong, and New Zealand. he pioneered the issuance of the First Prepaid debit card solution with MasterCard International. 


He was also one of the pioneers in the use of POS Terminals for mobile payments in taxis. An early entrant into identity verification solutions in the mobile payments industry, Chris is a co-founder of Veratad, an online ID&V and Compliance company. In 2018, he was accepted onto the Barclays Techstars accelerator.


Chris has lectured for MasterCard University and currently sits on the Board of US and UK companies in the Fintech, ID Verification, and Payments Industries. Chris is based out of the United Kingdom.
